What will I learn?

Participants will learn how to bring real shifts to their culture through simple steps. This two-day training with a nationally known speaker will present practical approaches to create a truly inviting culture for successful community and family partnerships.  Participants will build an awareness of the important role of family engagement in the academic lives of children and will be given tools to achieve authentic family engagement that is linked to learning.  Training materials will be provided.

What is the end goal?

Our number one goal is student success in the classroom and beyond as they pursue college and career opportunities.  That success, in part, depends upon educators helping parents navigate the educational systems.  This training will provide educators with more confidence and strategies to work more effectively with parents and families.
